Candid Studios brings a cinematic eye to wedding videography, producing films that feel like watching your day unfold rather than a highlight reel set to music. Since launching in 2016, our videography team has covered weddings in venues ranging from Colorado mountain lodges to Florida beachfront estates, Ohio barns, and New York rooftop terraces. Every package includes a 3-5 minute highlight film, a full ceremony edit, and complete reception toasts and speeches as standalone clips — because your best man's speech deserves to be rewatched. We capture audio with wireless lavalier microphones on officiants and speakers, paired with ambient audio from on-camera mics for natural sound design. Our editors work in 4K and use color grading matched to your photography's style so stills and video feel cohesive. Delivery takes six to eight weeks and includes digital files optimized for sharing and archival-quality downloads. We also offer raw footage packages for couples who want every moment preserved, not just the polished final cut.

We create three main products: a 3-5 minute cinematic highlight film set to music, a 15-20 minute documentary edit covering the full story of your day, and full ceremony and speech recordings. Most couples choose the highlight film plus documentary combo.
Professional wedding videography uses cinema-grade cameras, stabilizers, wireless audio systems, and drone footage to create a cinematic experience. We capture multiple angles simultaneously, record pristine audio of vows and speeches, and edit everything into a polished film with color grading and licensed music.
Absolutely. We collaborate closely with photographys to ensure both teams capture everything without getting in each other's way. We've worked alongside hundreds of photographys and have an excellent reputation for seamless coordination.
Yes, crystal-clear audio is a top priority. We use wireless lavalier microphones on the officiant and couple, plus backup recorders. For speeches, we either mic the podium or place a recorder nearby. You'll hear every word clearly in your final video.
The highlight film is typically delivered within 6-8 weeks. The full documentary edit follows 2-4 weeks after that. You'll receive a private online link to stream and download your films in full HD or 4K resolution.
Yes, we include drone footage when conditions and venue regulations permit. Aerial shots of your venue, outdoor ceremony, and couple portraits add a stunning cinematic dimension. Our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified and carry proper insurance.
We curate music from licensed libraries that perfectly complement your day's emotions. You're welcome to suggest songs or genres you love, and we'll work to incorporate your preferences. All music is properly licensed for personal and social media use.
Standard packages include one lead videography. For larger weddings (150+ guests) or multi-location events, we recommend a two-person crew to capture simultaneous moments. Additional crew members ensure no important moment goes unrecorded.
Raw footage is available as an add-on. This includes all unedited camera files from the day, which is great for creating additional edits down the road. Raw footage is delivered on a hard drive due to the large file sizes.
Our Essential package focuses on ceremony and key moments. Standard adds full-day coverage with reception footage. Premium includes everything plus a same-day edit teaser, drone footage, and extended documentary edit. Each tier builds on the previous one.
