Candid Studios has been delivering aerial photography using FAA-certified drone pilots since 2016, serving clients across real estate, construction, events, and commercial industries in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Texas, Illinois, and New York. Our aerial photography packages include pre-flight planning with FAA airspace authorization where required, high-resolution overhead and angled shots captured at multiple altitudes, and professionally edited images delivered within 48 hours. We fly DJI enterprise-grade drones equipped with 1-inch sensors and mechanical shutters that produce sharp, color-accurate images even in bright sunlight. Every flight includes liability insurance documentation that we provide directly to your venue or property manager. Aerial photography is especially effective for large properties, construction progress documentation, commercial developments, event venues, and resort marketing. We handle all permit requirements and airspace coordination so you don't have to navigate FAA regulations yourself. Whether you need a single overhead shot of a rooftop venue or a complete aerial survey of a multi-acre property, our team adapts the flight plan to match your specific deliverables.

What Our Clients Say

Honestly still looking through the gallery from our wedding in Pinecrest and I’m just so grateful to Candid Studios!! These guys made everything feel so effortless even with the crazy heat on the day. Our photographer captured all the little candid moments we didn’t even notice happening and our videographer got the most perfect shots of the ceremony that honestly brought us both to tears. You get exactly what you pay for and then some. If anyone is looking for wedding photography and videography in Miami I couldn’t recommend them more!

We just got our engagement gallery back and honestly I am still scrolling through it every five minutes because they are absolutely stunning. Candid Studios made the whole process so easy from start to finish which was a huge relief since we were already stressed about planning everything else. The pre production questionnaire actually helped us so much with the vision for the day because it gave us clear guidelines on what to wear and where to go. Our photographer was incredible at blending into the background during our first look near the water at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa without being intrusive at all and then captured those quiet moments during our vows later in the evening with such care. We really wanted someone who understood engagement photography in Florida and how to capture that specific warm light which y'all totally nailed. The Atlantic is a gorgeous spot but also has tight spaces so it was impressive how you managed to find angles that made everything look spacious and romantic. Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for photography in Fort Lauderdale because they just get it and we are already talking about booking them for the wedding.

From the moment they arrived at our venue in Kendall they were so easy to work with and made the whole day feel stress free. The photos turned out exactly how we dreamed and the film captured every little emotion we didn't even notice happening. y'all really crushed it. If you are looking for wedding photography and videography in Miami you have to hire these guys. We keep going back to look at the gallery and still get so happy seeing it.

Our photographer was so easy to work with and totally put us at ease even though we were feeling a little awkward on set. We are still looking through the gallery and just keep laughing at how natural some of these photos turned out. Aerial Photography FAQ
We provide aerial photography for real estate, construction progress, events, commercial properties, agricultural land, inspections, and creative content. Our FAA Part 107 certified pilots operate professional-grade DJI drones with high-resolution cameras.
Yes, all our pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, which is required for commercial drone operations. We carry $2M in liability insurance, maintain detailed flight logs, and follow all federal, state, and local regulations.
Most locations are flyable, but some areas have restrictions. We handle all airspace authorizations, including LAANC approvals for controlled airspace near airports. We'll assess your location and secure any needed permits before the shoot.
We shoot at 48MP+ resolution, delivering images suitable for large-format printing, billboards, and high-detail zoom capability. Raw files and multiple export formats are available. Aerial panoramas can exceed 100MP when stitched.
FAA regulations limit commercial drone flights to 400 feet AGL (above ground level), which provides excellent coverage for most applications. At 400 feet, we can capture expansive property views, neighborhood context, and dramatic perspectives.
Ideal conditions are clear skies or thin clouds, winds under 20 mph, and no precipitation. We monitor weather closely and will reschedule if conditions aren't safe. Early morning and golden hour provide the best lighting for aerial shots.
A standard aerial session takes 30-60 minutes on site. Complex projects with multiple buildings or large properties may take 2-3 hours. We plan our flight paths in advance to maximize efficiency and capture all needed angles.
Yes, we produce stunning aerial panoramas, 360-degree spherical images, and interactive virtual tours from drone perspectives. These are particularly effective for resort properties, golf courses, and large commercial developments.
Yes, we provide recurring aerial documentation for construction sites, seasonal property changes, and development projects. Monthly or quarterly flyovers with consistent angles allow you to create compelling time-lapse progressions.
Standard delivery is 24-48 hours for edited aerial photos. Rush same-day delivery is available. Images include color correction, HDR processing, and sky enhancement when conditions require it.
