Club at Ibis is one of those venues where the light does half the work for you. The ballroom opens onto the golf course, so during cocktail hour we're usually pulling couples outside while the sky over the fairways goes gold. The property sits right against Grassy Waters Preserve, so it's not unusual to catch a heron or a gator sunning nearby while we're setting up portraits, which always becomes a fun story in the reception speeches.
What we love logistically is that Ibis gives us both an indoor and an outdoor ceremony option under one roof, so if the Florida sky decides to be dramatic, we're not scrambling. The Terrace Room bridges that gap nicely for cocktail hour, half in the shade, half open to the course.
