Echo Mountain sits on Highway 103 outside Idaho Springs, a ski area in winter and a mountain wedding venue in the warmer months, about 40 minutes from Denver. The ridgeline looks west toward the Continental Divide. Wind on the deck is real, and the light drops fast once the sun slips behind the peaks.
Candid Studios has photographed 1 wedding at Echo Mountain. We treat the mountain as the ceremony room: hold vows on the deck or the slope, then move inside when the air cools and the guests want walls.
As photographers and videographers, we plan around three practical realities: where the ceremony light falls on the ridge, how guests move between outdoor vows and the indoor reception, and when the portrait window opens before the sun drops. We keep stills and film on the same beat so the walk from the slope to dinner reads as one story.
Every package includes professionally edited images, a high-res online gallery, print release, and free RAW files. Photo and video can be booked together so you are not coordinating two companies on site at Echo Mountain.
