My favorite moment on any job is usually overheard just as we finish, when the newly married couple or family who showed up feeling nervous is whispering to each other, "That was actually so much fun!" After 10 years as a Lead Photographer, that's still what makes me happiest, knowing I helped people capture themselves the way they want to be seen without stress. I photograph people at every stage, whether they are newly engaged, fifty years married, had their first baby, or having their last first day of school; not to mention the makers, small businesses, and events that fill in the rest of a life. Whatever you want to celebrate or remember, I'd like to be the friendly face behind the camera so you can stop worrying about how it's going to turn out. My keen eye, intuitive knowledge of lighting, and knack for framing will take care of everything. Inclusivity is at the heart of what I do. I light for your skin tone and pose for your body, not a body I saw on Pinterest. Your family and your relationship don't need explaining to me. I want you to be able to scroll my portfolio and find yourself in it. I've got experience shooting in almost any situation you can imagine: rain, a dark reception hall, harsh noon sun, a timeline that fell apart. Corporate and artisan clients tell me the same thing my couples do: the process is organized, the shooting is efficient, and nobody feels micro-managed (whether you're the owner of a private practice or a reluctant teen taking senior photos).
